Meet Claire
Claire is a Dental Hygienist that began working with Dr. Collins shortly after graduating from the LSU School of Dentistry in May 2011. She has thoroughly enjoyed putting her skills into practice and is looking forward to continuing to work with such a great staff, as well as getting to know our wonderful patients.
In her time away from the office, Claire enjoys running and spoiling her nephews.
Meet Jackie
Jackie has been a Certified Expanded Duty Dental Assistant for five years and plans to be here for many more years. She is also an instructor for Dental Careers Institute, a school started by Dr. Collins.
She shares, “It’s a pleasure to be part of a dental team that works well together, provides the best dental care, and treats all our patients like family.” Jackie is compassionate and attentive to each patient’s needs and their comfort while in her care.
Away from the office she enjoys spending time with friends and family and watching LSU and Saints games.
Meet Jessica
Jessica is an Expanded Duty Dental Assistant with over 10 years of experience. She graduated from Ascension College in the dental assisting program and attended Louisiana State University.
Throughout her time working with Dr. Collins, she adds, “I have been amazed at how much I still learn and add to my experiences in the dental field. I recommend and send my own family members here and am so proud to be part of a dynamic and professional team!”
Meet Marcia
For over 26 years, Marcia, has been a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Collins. She graduated from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1980.

Meet Sara
Sara brings over five years of dental assisting experience to Sherwood Dental Care. As a dental assistant she enjoys interacting with our patients and will make your experience very comfortable and pleasant. Sara is proud to be a member of a dental team that treats each patient with the utmost respect and provides them with treatment options that are best for their individual needs.
When away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
Meet Eileen
Eileen is our Administrative Secretary / Treatment Coordinator and has been working with Dr. Collins since 1991. She truly enjoys visiting with patients and working out their financial arrangements to make their needed treatment possible.
She comments, “We try our best to give our patients the very best service possible and are proud that so many of them refer their family and friends to our office.”
Bike riding, cooking, or spending time with her grand kids is where you will find her when she is away from the office.
Meet Theresa
Since January 2010, Theresa has served as our Business Manager. She has obtained extensive management and administrative experience throughout the years in various positions and is a caring, conscientious, and loyal employee that takes pride in her work. “I love every part of my day, especially talking with our patients,” she shares.
In her spare time, Theresa enjoys spending time with my family and friends.
