Close a gap between teeth without braces

What is the best way to close the gap in my two front teeth without braces? Thanks Lillie V

Lillie – Options for closing the gap between your teeth depend on the size of the gap. A small gap can be closed with dental bonding. Each tooth will be roughened and dental bonding will be applied. The bonding is hardened with a light, then smoothed and polished. The result is natural looking. In time, dental bonding can wear, chip, or pick up stains, in which case the bonding would need to be polished, or depending on the extent of the wear, re-done.

A second option, but more expensive option for concealing a tooth gap, is porcelain veneers. Your natural teeth are slightly shaved so the veneers won’t look bulky. Durable, but thin layers of porcelain are applied to your natural teeth. Porcelain veneers last 15 to 20 years, or longer, depending on how well you take care of them. Veneers can be made that perfectly match your natural teeth.
